WHAT IS IT
A heated flooring system, also known as "radiant heat" or "radiant floor heating system", consisting of an electrically powered heating cable. The cable(s) is installed on the subfloor surface, and then covered and set with your choice of decorative flooring. The heating cable(s) is controlled via wall thermostat. These are no maintenance, one time installation cables. The FloorLace system comes with a 30-year warranty. Enjoy a heated tile floor or stone, linoleum, carpet, and more. This system is not for use with real wood as either the subfloor or decorative flooring. Indoor use only. Not for installation under pool or spa (hot tub) nor outdoor use. Thermostat sold separately.
ELECTRICAL INFORMATION
The system must be connected via GFCI with a rated operating current not more than 30mA. The surface heat output of the cable is 12w/Sqft. This output ensures uniform and efficient heating.
USE & INSTALLATION
Plan the layout of the system in your area before installation. Once the system is laid out, be sure to test all electrical connections. Disconnect the power before covering with appropriate adhesive (cement, etc.). Cable and all components must be fully covered in mortar, cement, asphalt, concrete, tile adhesive, thinset, etc., whatever's required for your floor covering installation. The flooring adhesive must be completely set and dry (based on its instructions) before first powering on the system.
